Private Swimming Lessons

Available at our sister school, Galaxy Ranch in Rockwall, private swim lessons are a great way to boost a child’s self-confidence and self esteem, in and out of the water. We offer students direct swim instruction in one teacher to three-student ratio. Teaching a child to swim gives them a life-long safety skill and the opportunity for unlimited water-based adventures as they grow.

Swim Club

Does your child love the water and swim like a fish? swim-groupSwim Club at our sister school, Galaxy Ranch School in Rockwall, provides an opportunity for preschoolers age 3 and above as well as school age children to grow into fundamentally sound competent swimmers by helping them refine their arm stroke and kicking techniques. This additional parent pay option allows six students to work with pour swim instructor in this small group setting to develop into the best swimmer he or she can be.

TOTtot

(Teams of Tomorrow) is a fundamental and creative basketball program designed to give students a creative and unique way to learn, experience and master all sorts of ball handling tricks! TOT teachers will model, encourage, & inspire your child to be the very best that they can be! Your child will attain many new skills that will instill a drive and motivation that will carry over into all areas of your child’s life. (Taught by outside instructor)<

 

Dance

Children age three and older learn the fundamentals of tap and ballet while at the same time developing core body strength and coordination. This small-ratio class teaches children the love of music and physical activity as they twirl, tap and pliƩ through their morning. (Taught by outside instructor).

 

Computers

Blue Ivey Small-JBLarson-126Preschoolers love the chance to work on the computer like mom and dad. This parent-pay offering allows preschoolers a chance to go to the computer lab once a week and work on computer-based educational programming. They learn the basics of mouse movement and keyboarding, as well as get the chance to use age-appropriate software to learn more about letters, sounds and basic mathematics.

 

 

Stretch N’ Grow

All preschoolers at Blue Ivey school are invited to join Stretch N’ Grow, a program designed to help children develop gross and fine motor skills, balance and coordination. Children exercise using rhymes, music and games and learn about the benefits of exercise and good nutrition.
