Blue Ivey School will remain open next week, March 16-20, while Garland ISD extends its spring break. We are committed to providing a healthy, happy environment for your children in the face of this national uncertainty. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), medical professionals and local health departments and follow their guidelines.
At this time, we must all exercise personal responsibility. While we do our part to increase efforts to sanitize our building, we would ask that you do your part in keeping home sick children. No child will be allowed to remain at school with a fever of 99.4 degrees or higher. Please follow all CDC travel guidelines and self-quarantine provisions, including recently having traveled outside the country, on a cruise ship or to heavily impacted states such as California, New York or Washington.
