As we journey through November, let’s take a moment to appreciate all that we have. Instilling a sense of gratitude in children not only fosters kindness but also reduces stress, fosters empathy, and sets the stage for future success. We can all agree those are powerful characteristics to have later in life and we think they are the part of the building blocks in early education.
At Blue Ivey School, we try to incorporate our core values into the children’s everyday learning. Community involvement helps to strengthen these traits in our end-of-the-year calendar to see how the whole family can get involved. Let us all help teach gratitude and kindness in the classroom and at home.
Read here to find out the important ways giving thanks can make your child more well-rounded, as well as books to read and activities to do with them throughout November.
